OTSN
2003 - Friday & Saturday
|
I'm
going to combine photos and comments from both days, arranged in no
particular order. I found that I spent more time looking - and often
forgot to drag out the old camera. But I did manage to get a few good
shots. Both days were considered a success by all, with dealers and
collectors being very active. I didn't hear of anyone who has had
a "Bad" show.
Barzso and Conte were both doing a brisk business throughout the show.
The last time I spoke to Ron Barzso, he commented that when he had
gone to his van to get 3 more "Conquistadors & Aztec"
playsets, he sold one in the parking lot, one in the lobby, before
getting to the elevator. So he made it to his room with only one of
the playsets.
I visited Conte's room several times and it was always busy. I, myself
left with one of his metal Errol Flynn - Robin Hood figures. Well
enough rambling for now - onto the photos.

Conte
Alamo - Sets 1 through 5. Richard Conte's vision for this set is
starting to take shape - and a lot of space! This is one massive
set up - and he's not done yet.
