DVD and CHICAGO TOY SOLDIER SHOW UPDATE
Held in Schaumburg Il just outside Chicago, this year the Old Toy Soldier Show is Sunday September 28 (and for room trading, you can come wander the 4th and 5th floors the days before)… all of the world’s great toy soldier dealers will be there, along with ravenous consumers like you and I.

We’ll be there starting Wednesday, loaded up with back issues, current newest releases, and of course our exciting new DVD production, “Marx Blue & Gray Sets” Volume XIV --- at over an hour in length it is easily our longest filmed program to date, and it is hosted from the Gettysburg Battlefield showing most every Marx Battle of the Blue & Gray set there ever was including an extremely rare mint boxed opening of a set connoisseurs will love because this one showed all the rare colors—the No. 4744.

There is new information on this release elsewhere on this website, thanks to Jim Clouse’s mysterious and special electronic communication skills!

The OTS show is held at the Hyatt Regency Woodfield, 1800 East Golf Road across from acres and acres of classy shopping at the Woodfield Mall. Show producer is Don Pielin (630) 497-1239. If you need details or help or any sort of advice we might be able to give call us at 719-634-7430.

INSIDERS TIPS:

I understand from Jim we’ll be posting some show updates (and maybe some videos!) right here on the Playset Magazine collectors network website.

Grab The Map – the one given out at the front reservations desk – then use it to navigate your way through the halls. They go round and round, you’ll need it to mark off where you’ve been, and that means, bring a pencil!

And after that, it’s the great Chicago Show at Kane County Fairgrounds. This is a tremendous fairgrounds full of good stuff. See ads this issue of Playset Magazine for details.
